NEW EPISODE! Eleonora Bastos - Body Image, Food Relationships & Wellness Chat

In this week’s episode I had the pleasure talking to Eleonora Bastos, a best-selling author, speaker, and sought-after health-wellness professional who is striving to revolutionize the world of nutrition and overall well-being. She has been hand-picked to work with a number of renowned brands such as Victoria Beckham LTD, Radio Health UK, London One Radio, and WeWork to encourage and promote habits for physical and mental health.

Having built a career as a health coach and speaker highlighting nutrition and wellness, Eleonora shares her expertise with a commitment to inspire and empower people from all walks of life. Her method incorporates health, nutrition, and personal development as part of her individual, and tailored plans which are created to encourage clients and others to adopt a more gentle, balanced approach, ultimately aimed at improving their quality of life, thus, making her approach uniquely comprehensive.

The success of Eleonora’s first book, Go Feed Yourself: The Essential Guide To Feeling Healthier And Happier In Your Body, has found its way to the top of Amazon’s Best Sellers list. The book is designed as a 12 week program to help readers break free from the concept of dieting while simultaneously improving energy, preventing bloating, and creating an overall lasting positive impact on the mind, body, and spirit.

During our talk, we discussed Eleonora’s personal journey to her successful career, body image, dieting and how a positive mindset can help in your wellness journey. I have connected with Eleonora on Instagram and I am so happy I have! She’s such a positive, wonderful person who has overcome so much in life – a true inspiration! Her book is amazing too, so go check it out on Amazon!

To round off our chat, I asked Eleonora for her top 3 tips for women who don’t know where to begin, and this is what she suggested:

1) Stop listening to outside things, listen to your body. Start asking yourself real questions, once you do it will change your life. How do you feel? Are you happy? Score yourself! Your brain is there to protect you, to change areas in your life it will involve some feelings of discomfort and pain – stepping out of your comfort zone can do this, but once you break through the results will be amazing!

2) Focus on health, not a number on the scale. Progress photos are great to see how you look. Throw away the scales, the number should not dictate your moods!

3) Get in touch with your feminine self. Learn your cycle and learn how you are doing. Work with your body, not against it. Exercise isn’t a punishment, it’s there to help your body.
