In this week’s episode I had the pleasure talking to Eleonora Bastos, a best-selling author, speaker, and sought-after health-wellness professional who is striving to revolutionize the world of nutrition and overall well-being. To round off our chat, I asked Eleonora for her top 3 tips for women who don’t know where to begin, and this is what she suggested:
1) Stop listening to outside things, listen to your body. Start asking yourself real questions, once you do it will change your life. How do you feel? Are you happy? Score yourself! Your brain is there to protect you, to change areas in your life it will involve some feelings of discomfort and pain – stepping out of your comfort zone can do this, but once you break through the results will be amazing!
2) Focus on health, not a number on the scale. Progress photos are great to see how you look. Throw away the scales, the number should not dictate your moods!
3) Get in touch with your feminine self. Learn your cycle and learn how you are doing. Work with your body, not against it. Exercise isn’t a punishment, it’s there to help your body.
